Thank you for taking the time to view my work and getting to know me a little better. I am living my dream. It took me some time to figure out what that dream was. When I finally realized it was visual development I put my head down and pushed day and night to achieve my dream. It feels like a crime to wake up every day and feel like I just get to play all day because I love what I do. I owe huge thanks to my wife and kids for supporting me through the process of achieving my dream career.
I started my concept art career using Photoshop doing digital illustrations and concept design. I have been extremely conscious of learning new procedures, techniques, programs, and tools to make sure I do not pigeon hole myself. Since I started off with strong core fundamentals I can adapt my skills to any program, it is just a matter of finding the right buttons to push.
2D design is my first love in this industry but high resolution sculpting using programs like Zbrush is a very close second. The first time I opened Zbrush and got over how different the program structure was it was instant love for digital sculpting. I have since merged the 2D and 3D world by using Zbrush, Photoshop, and several other programs to create strong visual concepts. I have used these methods to create strong concept design, advertisements, rapid prototypes, and diverse iterations.
My true passion is concept design but I can market myself as a Jack of all trades. I have developed a strong understanding of the 3D pipeline. I have been responsible for taking many designs from 2D concept through 3D realization, re-topology, UV, and Texturing to become a full game asset.
I am currently working as a freelance artist and am available to work on your project. I would also love to land a job working in the entertainment or game industry. For a detailed list of my program knowledge and background please view my resume and feel free to contact me.
